About Me

Picture-12

Trevor M Harrington – Born 4th April 1955 (age 56).

Married to Sally A Harrington – Born 10th February 1957 (age 54).

Trevor and Sally were married in 1980 (31 years).

They have two daughters, Louise and Claire (age 26 and 25).

The family home is in Lyddington, near Uppingham where they have lived for 26 years.

They also own a small holiday home in the French Alps.

Trevor was the Managing Director of his own business, which he founded in 1990 and sold in 2008 (Professional Financial Advisers with 12 staff)

He enjoys developing the success of other businesses through his business consultancy, and helping other people to achieve their own objectives. He enjoys walking in our delightful countryside, hiking in the Alps in summer and snow skiing in the winter.

He also plays golf in the summer (badly!).

Along with a busy social schedule, Trevor also follows a particular hobby, in game and wildlife conservation, by participating in various shoots. Over 35 years of shooting has led him to have many friends in the farming community, from whom he has derived a deep awareness of the unique problems and issues facing the agricultural world.

Trevor has had considerable business success in his life to date. Whilst he is caring and considerate of other people’s feelings, he is a straight talking normal family man, who dislikes unnecessary political correctness.

  • He has created a successful private business.
  • He is used to, and enjoys, taking a lead role by consent.
  • He speaks from the heart and takes full responsibility for his own decisions and actions.
  • He has a very common sense attitude to proceedings and does not suffer fools gladly.
  • He loves to go on crusades about his deeply held beliefs, particularly against institutions that take advantage of their position.
  • He understands the principles of a normal family life, he understands mortgages, house ownership and the cost of the weekly shopping.
  • He understands the needs, desires and fears of parents, when considering the education and upbringing of their children.
  • He understands the mental, physical and financial cost of creating and running a successful business at a profit.
  • He understands and accepts the responsibility of business, it’s staff and their well being.
  • He understands economic fact, and plain common sense.
  • He would dearly love the opportunity to illustrate his beliefs to the leaders of our wonderful country.
